Monthly Pension Payment Schedule Update

Over the past several days, we have received valuable feedback from members regarding the timing of pension payments when the first day of the month falls on a weekend or statutory holiday.

We appreciate those members who took the time to share their concerns and experiences.  At ACAW Trust Funds, we are committed to continually improving our services and ensuring a positive experience for our members.

After reviewing the feedback received, the ACAW Pension Plan Administration will be further amending its pension payment schedule policy for situations where the regular payment date may be affected by weekends or statutory holidays.  Our goal is to reduce potential calendar-related disruptions and provide greater consistency for members who rely on their monthly pension payments.

The table below sets out the scheduled pension payment dates for each month for the remainder of 2026.  While the ACAW Pension Plan will issue payments on the dates listed, the timing of when funds are deposited and available in your account may vary by financial institution.  Each October, we will communicate the following year’s pension payment schedule, both via email, and on our website.

We appreciate your patience, feedback, and ongoing support as we continue to enhance our service to members.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

ACAW Pension Plan Administration

August Pension Payment Information

We have received inquiries regarding the timing of August pension payments.

As outlined in the ACAW Pension Plan member booklet, pension payments are electronically deposited on the first day of each month. If the first day of the month falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, payments are made on the next business day.

This year, August 1 fell on a weekend, and the following Monday was a statutory holiday. As a result, pension payments were processed on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Some financial institutions may make deposited funds available before the scheduled payment date, while others make funds available on the actual payment date. These practices are determined by individual financial institutions and are outside of the Plan's control.

We understand that timely receipt of pension payments is important. To help avoid confusion in the future, we will continue to communicate upcoming payment dates whenever the first day of the month falls on a weekend or statutory holiday.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

ACAW Pension Plan Administration
