Postal Strike – November 2024

THIS PERTAINS TO HEALTH & WELLNESS BENEFIT CHEQUES ONLY

If you live in Edmonton or surrounding areas, you can make arrangements with the ACAW Health & Wellness Plan to pick up your benefit cheques.

THIS SERVICE WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED FOR THE DURATION OF THE LABOUR DISRUPTION.

If you do not live in Edmonton or surrounding areas, you can arrange to have a courier service pick up your cheque.  You must personally make all the arrangements and pay any and all associated fees.  Our office staff cannot make these arrangements for you.

If you are a dental office or other service provider, the same procedures shown above can also be applied.  If you have multiple cheques ready, we will be happy to group these for you.

Please note:  When you submit your claim, please allow at least three weeks for processing and payment.  Periods of high claims volume and holidays can require longer processing times.

THIS PERTAINS TO PENSION BENEFIT CHEQUES ONLY

Pension Lump Sum cheques can be picked up after 3:00 PM on the last working day of the month during the Labour Disruption.

THIS SERVICE WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED FOR THE DURATION OF THE LABOUR DISRUPTION.

As with Health & Wellness, if you do not live in Edmonton or surrounding areas, you can arrange to have a courier service pick up your cheque.  You must personally make all the arrangements and pay any and all associated fees.  Our office staff cannot make these arrangements for you, and the courier fees cannot be removed from the cheque being tendered.
